JetBlue Mint Refresh
Mint disrupted what transcontinental business class flying looks like in 2014. Fast forward seven years, and Mint 2.0 has disrupted the market once again with entirely new seats and a refreshed team of business partners.
Project Type: Production and media
Role: Final stages design coordinator
New Products
The soft products proudly show the partnerships with amazing brands. Noise cancelling headphones from Master & Dynamic. Wellness kits from Wanderfuel, catered specifically for your flight. Full Tuft & Needle sleep experience from pillows and blankets to the actual seat cushion. Last but definitely not the least, amazing food with wine/cocktail pairing from Delicious Hospitality Group.
The designs of the newest seats came from listening to customer feedback. Everyone wanted their own seat with their own door. Full privacy. And now, every seat is a suite. The Vantage Solo seats checked that box and provided plenty of room to elevate it to the JetBlue experience. The seats use custom Tuft & Needle cushions because they are the experts in the sleep experience.
All the thoughtful features (including wireless charging stations, sleek design on every surface, and lighting features) create one comfortable bed seat at an elevation of 36,000 feet.
My Role
When I first joined the team and was brought onto this project, I was blown away by the new products and partnerships that the team had been working towards for years.
I assisted in adjusting final designs, matching Pantone colors, and approving materials for production.
For the marketing assets, I made sure the final still and video seat renderings are accurate and exactly how customers will see it in person.
